Cashewnut Shell Liquid

Cashew Shells, by product of cashew processing are utilized to produce cashewnut shell liquid (CNSL) by its sister concern 'Prathvi Agro Tech Pvt. Ltd'. CNSL plant at Muroor village in Kumta has a capacity of 750 M.T per annum. It supplies CNSL to manufactuers of Cardanol.

Exports

Sahyadri entered the world market in the year 1992 and its products are now exported to most of the International Markets viz. U.S.A, EEC countries, Australia, Japan, Behrain and U.A.E. Export consignments undergo thorough inspection by accredited agencies. Processing Capacity

Sahyadri is equipped to process 5.00 M.T of Raw Cashew nuts per day. The manufacturing facility is housed inmore than 8000 sq. mtrs of land situated at Hosaherwatta village in Kumta on NH 17, which is exactly halfway between Panaji (Goa) and Mangalore. The manufacturing facilities, include adequate drying yards, warehouse, processing plant and common facilities measuring more than 3500 square meters.

Sahyadri has on roll 250 skilled employees from rural area and 95% of them are women. No child labour is employed.
